Hattiesburg Public School District Foundation

The Foundation is required to file a tax return with the U. S. The Foundation exists to support the faculty, staff, and students of the Hattiesburg Public School District.  Our work includes funding enrichment grants to HPSD faculty and staff, supporting early childhood and school readiness efforts, seeking and maintaining student scholarship funds, supporting HPSD arts and athletics programs, and working to meet emerging needs in the school district.

These funding priorities were determined by the Foundation's Board of Directors in October 2014 based primarily on feedback from the community survey conducted during the summer of 2014.  Click the link below to see the complete survey results report.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Contributions are tax- deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Grants to Faculty & Staff for 2019-20 School Year

The Foundation's 2019-2020 HPSD Faculty & Staff Grant Application package is now available.  The Foundation's Board of Directors encourages faculty and staff members to take advantage of this grant opportunity.  The application form and instructions are contained in a Word document that can be completed manually or electronically.  Just click the link below to download the application package.  Please note that while most grants are aimed at meeting faculty and classroom needs, grants are also available to administration and staff members for staff development purposes.
